“Saku” (朔) refers to the new moon, the moment when the moon disappears from view.

NAGI Veil SAKU is a kimono camisole crafted from solid black ro, a traditional sheer kimono fabric.

The delicate transparency unique to ro allows glimpses of the skin to emerge softly, shifting with the light and the angle from which it is seen.

Visible, yet not entirely revealed.

We named this piece SAKU, inspired by the beauty found in that ambiguous boundary and by the moonless darkness of a new moon night.

The quiet elegance and sensuality of black, combined with the light, airy quality that only ro can create.

By not revealing everything, this piece leaves something to the imagination.
